Specific Responsibilities Demonstrates knowledge and application of the HMC vision/ mission and values. Supervise the Waste Treatment Plan operation/ ensuring compliance with safety and state environmental regulations. Work closely with the FSO - Environmental in conducting waste audit in all the corporation's facilities and activities and submit recommendations to ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Assist the FSO - Environmental in organizing and regular training of all hospital staff in waste handling. Work with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) regarding issuing/ accomplishing and returning of work orders or documentation. Responsible for the performance and discipline of all tradesmen assigned in the section. Advise the FSO - Environmental on the staffing/ materials and equipment requirements of the section. Evaluate work performance and make recommendations such as merit increases/ promotions/ transfers and disciplinary action. Provide guidance/ counsel and technical assistance to technicians. Complies with HMC policies and procedures; and in particular infection control/ safety and quality management. Performs other duties as requested
